Sam Mitchell, aged 31, was featured amongst the brightest young talent in Accountancy Age which is a national publication for the accountancy profession.
For its annual showcase of talent it picked out “35 under 35” and Sam was given a glowing tribute.
It said: “Mitchell has been an exemplar of ability and application.
“Joining the firm as a 16-year-old school-leaver, he romped through AAT and ICAEW exams, competing successfully against ‘Big Four’ graduate candidates.
“His friendly personality and strong technical skills make him popular with clients and team members alike, and explain why he was promoted from manager to director at the ripe age of 29.”
It is not the first time Lambert Roper & Horsfield, Union Street South, Halifax, has featured in Accountancy Age as last year it was listed in the Top 10 of employers in the accountancy profession.
