Lambert Roper and Horsfield team member raises hundreds for charity

An admin worker from Halifax accountancy firm Lambert Roper and Horsfield has raised hundreds of pounds for charity as part of the Race for Life.

Lynn Hudson, who works in the Wealth Management Admin Team, raised £335 for Cancer Research after taking part in the event held at Lister Park in Bradford on Sunday (June 7).

She took on the challenge in memory of her sister-in-law Rita, who lost her battle with cancer in July 2008.

“It was very emotional but very worthwhile,” Lynn said after the event.

“The Race for Life is a very positive event and you meet some wonderful people who are all so encouraging.”

The Race for Life won’t be the end of Lynn’s charity work. Lynn plans to take part in a further sponsored run later in the year to raise money for research into the heart disease, Cardiomyopathy.
