Expert employment law seminar for care home owners
Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants, Lambert Roper and Horsfield, is sponsoring the UK’s premier employment law seminar in association with Peninsula Business Services.
This free-to-attend event is essential for business owners within the care industry (care homes, children’s nurseries, providing care in the community) and will offer expert and comprehensive advice on all aspects of employment legislation affecting employers in this sector.
Attendees will receive information on how to ensure a care home is compliant with the ever-increasing levels of employment law and health and safety regulations in force, as well as how to protect against expensive litigation claims and tribunals.
The event will also look in to issues such as statutory duties, employee rights, the new fit note system and discrimination laws.
The seminar will take place on June 8 at the Lambert Roper and Horsfield offices at The Old Woolcombers Mill, 12-14 Union Street South, Halifax, and will commence at 9.30am for registration and refreshments with a view to begin the seminar at 10am, until 12.45pm.
