Keith Takes the Gong at Annual Dinner

Halifax accountant and president of the Halifax, Huddersfield & District Past Rabbit Golf Association, Keith Lyons, has proven he still has what it takes after picking up the coveted Order of Merit.

The club's Annual Dinner Dance and Prize Presentation, given by the Halifax, Huddersfield & District Rabbit Golf Association, took place earlier this month, when Keith was presented with his trophy.

The Order of Merit is a season-long competition where competitors battle it out on the fairways to come top overall in three crunch games. Keith took the top spot this year and was duly awarded the prize.

"It's quite special as it takes place across the entire season," said Keith.

"There are three competitions and you have to take part in all three to qualify for the Order of Merit. Then you have to make sure your results are the best, so I'm delighted to have won."
